[ARCHIVED] Attention Westbrook Voters Registered With a Major Party

WESTBROOK VOTERS REGISTERED WITH A MAJOR PARTY TO VOTE IN NEXT WEEK’S PRESIDENTIAL PREFERENCE PRIMARY (AUGUST 11, 2020).

 

Due to COVID-19, the Governor has issued an Executive Order allowing residents to vote absentee, if you prefer not to come to the Polls on Election Day.

As of today, August 03, 2020, all of Westbrook has received or will be receiving their ballot from the the Office of the Secretary of State Denise W. Merrill (SOTS) if you have already completed an application.

If you have not, and would like to vote absentee, contact the Town Clerk’s Office for an application and an Absentee Ballot and one will be issued from that office.

Ballots mailed out to voters through the mail house contracted by the SOTS have confirmed that ballot applications received through July 27, 2020 have been mailed out to Westbrook voters.

In an effort to ensure you have every opportunity to vote in the upcoming Primary Election, you are encouraged to go to the Westbrook Town Clerk page (here) where you will find an application for an absentee ballot or on the SOTS page under elections (here).

The polls will be open on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
